E. Jakarta Focuses on Handling 19 Traffic Jam-Prone Spots

The ranks of East Jakarta administration is currently focusing on dealing with 19 out of 133 traffic jam-prone spots that spread in 10 sub-districts. 

There is totally 133 spots prone to traffic jam. From them, 19 spots are very potential to make severe jam

East Jakarta Mayor, Muhammad Anwar stated that those spots are the focus of handling, as they are the most crucial and must be handled soon.

Therefore, he ordered his staff to be more serious in handling systematically.

"There is totally 133 spots prone to traffic jam. From them, 19 spots are very potential to make severe jam," he stated, Friday (11/30).

One of the efforts made to deal with traffic jams in such spots is to place joint officers and close the U turn.

"Seven until ten officers will monitor them. They will manage traffic at rush hours, especially in the morning and afternoon," he uttered.

Among that traffic jam-prone spots are at Jalan Pahlawan Revolusi, Jalan Basuki Rahmat, Jalan Raya Bogor, Jalan Dewi Sartika, and Jalan DI Panjaitan.
